An elegant bar and bistro. Gin&Vino is a welcome addition to Thame’s High Street.
Gin & Vino have started trading from a lovely 17th Century building in the heart of Thame, next to the Spread Eagle Hotel.
As the name suggests, here is a business specialising in Gins and Wines. Owners Kevin and Petra search for and supply only the finest products.
The emphasis is on quality and originality. Much of the gin and wine is supplied by small Artisan family producers. Both locally sourced and from around the world.
Gin brands include SkyWave, Salcombe, Ludlow, Mermaid, Tarquin’s, Silent Pool and 6 O’Clock amongst others. There are over 150 wines available. Some favourites include St Emilion, Chablis, Fleurie, Gavi and some amazing local English sparklings like Dinton Folly, Half Penny, Chafor and Lyme Bay Brut.
You could also try some excellent wines from some surprising new countries such as Lebanon, Georgia and Uruguay.
The exciting news for customers is that Gin&Vino will be both bar, bistro and retail outlet.
Call in, take the weight off your feet and enjoy an excellent gin and tonic or a superb glass of wine accompanied by a selection of meats and cheeses from Chilton charcuterie and Oxfordshire cheeses.
Tables can be booked ahead. If you are looking for a venue for a special event, you can also hire the whole place.
With its wooden floor, high ceilings, gin shelves and huge wine wall, Gin&Vino provides a tasteful interior for your taste buds.
